#3 – Broccoli & Leeks Cake

HELLO EVERYBODY!
Welcome to the third incredible cooking test..But this time, I’m gonna show you a picture of the final output!

OUR GOAL FOR TODAY is a wonderful healthy BROCCOLI&LEEKS CAKE!!

First of all, steam or boil broccoli. At the same time, start cooking leeks: leeks can be quite sandy, so a careful washing is important. Start by removing the white layer, then trim the base with a sharp paring knife, wash them well under cold running water. Cut the leeks in small round pieces, then put them in a wok with a bit of oil and start cooking them over low heat.

In a bowl, break the whole eggs and beat them, add salt, pepper and grated cheese. As soon as broccoli and leeks are ready, add them to the bowl and mix everything together. Preheat the oven at 200° C (392 °F).

Line the bottom of a 20 cm cake tin with butter and then stretch the pasta you bought – at the corner market!! – on the tin. Pour the mix of vegetables and cheese in the cake tin and cover it with an other layer of pasta.  Put the cake tin in the oven for 40-45 minutes and…GOOD LUCK!!! (MINE WAS TERRIFIC!!)
